About

The idea of The Meltingpot of How To's started in late 1998 and originally was just going to be called "The Meltingpot," as that is what life is. A place where I share my creative side, and life experiences in hopes that it will help whom ever finds the information here.

I got interested in blogging after running into a crafting blog train. I was lucky enough to have a roommate introduce me to html code, so I began working on animations, drawings, and writing mainly about crafts.

But life got crazy!

I went through a divorce, got preoccupied trying to stop the parental alienation my ex imposed upon the children, and in the process discovered how corrupt the whole system really is.

With all the chaos I temporarily put my idea of "The Meltingpot" on hold, took on a blue collar job to pay for child support while being alienated from my children and attending the Art Institute of Pittsburgh online for a degree in Interactive Media and Web design.

Relocating several times due to the chaos of the divorce resulted in the loss of a lot of my work portfolio, but the chaos strengthened my spirit, and made me more determined.

Court matters finally settled after a different judge was assigned to the divorce case and when I provided proof of harassment and interference in my ability to earn a living.

That's when I decided it was time get to work on my blog idea "The Meltingpot". I set goals and started on my journey to creating my dream. Except, now I have more than just arts and crafts to contribute. .

Before I could really get my idea of "The Meltingpot" back on track, the restaurant (that I had no knowledge of when I first had the idea for my blog) had grown into a giant in the restaurant industry going nationwide.  I realized I would have to change up the name, and may still have to change it more, depending on if the restaurant decides to say "hey you can't use any part of our name."

As many of the things I share are an opportunity for someone else to learn I decided to extend the name to The Meltingpot of How To's.  It is where my creativity, recipes, learning experiences, research, experimentation, and analysis through writing and videos on a wide variety of topics will be shared in hopes it will help others.

I believe if we freely share what we have learned, in hopes it will help others, all of humanity would live more in abundance, and may help break the karmic debt this world is suffering.

My theory is that the cause of this karmic debt is from generations of sacrifice due to greed and ego. If we can overcome the negative aspects of greed and ego (which I believe is what "Jesus Christ" / Yeshua Messiah was trying to teach, knowing that an understanding of great magnitude would be what it takes), we can then evolve instead of repeating the same vicious cycles that lead to revolution after revolution, but bring us back to the exact same problems.

I long for humanity to Evolve into a humanity that is actually humane. Maybe then the majority of law makers would not be sociopaths and psychopaths. However, please don't take my longing for humanity to Evolve as support for AI generated content.

Writing is just as much of an art as it is a source of information, or entertainment. From the perspective of the true artist, any of the Arts generated by AI provide no value as it can be mass produced. That's why I guarantee that everything on the Melting Pot of How To's is produced by a human.

I learned many things through self education, will-fully researching, studying, and experimenting. I have a degree in interactive media and web design, and continue my education every day.

I'm currently working as a care-taker for elderly and disabled people.  Busy with life, parenting, advocating to stop Parental Alienation, homeschooling, and research, while continuously working on a higher education to become more enlightened in order to try to help others, posts may not be very frequent at times. However, you can always expect something good or helpful out of what is posted here, so please don't forget to subscribe to keep up to date with the Melting Pot of How To.
